I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear, and will trust in the Lord. How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust! Psalm 40:1-4a

Blue and White Game
Jerrod had his first "game" on Saturday. It was more of an inner-team scrimmage, but it was really fun to watch. They had the Freshman, JV and Varsity teams, at North, playing against each other. Jerrod is a lineman on the Freshman team, #72. He did a great job! It is hard to believe Russell and I have another son in High School. Watching him play out on the HS football field made it hit home. Wow, time does fly!

The Holy Spirit took over the prayer I said---reminding her that "He was aware of her hopes and dreams, but also to not go away from His presence." Liz cannot receive text messages---that's why no reponse from her. She is without her computor on this trip, too. Love you guys!!!!
