Midnight River Run

Rion has been trying to run in this race for three years now. We missed it before because of vacations and other timing issues. Last night, he finally got to run the 5K, his first one! I couldn't seem to get any good pictures of the race because of the lighting. Except for this one guy, who I randomly got kind of a neat picture of...lol.


Anyway, Rion was so excited he got to run the Midnight River Run!

The Fair

Russell and Brenden worked at the Vigo County Fair again this year to raise money for North's wrestling program. The others boys and I only went once and looked at all the animals. Here are a few pictures of our favorites.

The youth group at church went to King's Island last week. Russell and I went along too! Jerrod and I couldn't ride any rides, but it was still an enjoyable trip.

I Love A Parade

We drove to Linton yesterday for their Independence Day Parade. It's the largest parade in Indiana on the 4th. It started at 10:00am and didn't end until around 11:30am. For anyone in the Terre Haute area, it is worth the drive, make plans for next year.

The 4th

Russell's brother Jayme and his wife Jennie were here visiting this weekend. We watched fireworks together and cooked hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire.




They went with us to watch Brenden and Rion run the Fast Track Mile. The weather was beautiful and they both ran well. It was great to be able to spend some time with family.
