Ouch Again!

Jerrod has been having some trouble with his shoulder for a while now. He can pull it almost all the way out of the socket and has been having a lot of pain and soreness. He had an arthrogram (big needle injecting dye into the joint...yikes!) and an MRI on it a couple of weeks ago.

It turns out he tore the labrum, the tissue attached to the outer edge of the socket, which acts like a bumper and keeps the bone in place. We aren't sure exactly how it happened...a combo of football, wrestling and weight-lifting. Anyway, he will be having surgery on May 6th and we would really appreciate your prayers. It will probably take a good 4-6 months for him to be back to normal and he will have to sit out this football season. :( However, the doctor doing the surgery is great and we expect a full recovery!
